Autism Spectrum – Changing Titles/ Changing Levels

Levels, degrees, severity – words sometimes used to describe the groups within the Autism diagnosis.

These levels points to how much help the Autistic person needs with everyday, day-to-day functions like brushing their teeth, to getting to school, to being able to work. It never really looked at the other factures that comes into play: Co-Morbidities or Co-Occurring conditions like ADHD, Social interaction, anxiety disorder, speech delays or intellection delays.

Well, it seems that they have changed their minds – again. The video below talks about the change in how Autism is being viewed.
